We finally have our power back, so now I am able to update the blog with a few pictures of Paige...we've had friends stop by, bath time and chatting with GG (Great Grandma)...it's been a busy couple of weeks! I'll post more pictures soon...
Well, I hope everyone in the Houston area made it thru Hurricane Ike, that was a pretty devastating and shocking event. Right in the middle of the hurricane and the power outage, Paige decided it was a good time to make her debut! Thankfully the hospital got their power back the morning we arrived and all went according to plan. She is a beautiful, healthy baby weighing in at 8 lbs. 1 oz. 21 in. long. Thank you all for you texts, phone calls and email messages and we'll try to talk to everyone and respond as soon as we can! So, if all goes to plan, we are scheduled to be induced on Tuesday, September 16th! Unless she comes before then and unless there are other medical emergencies at the hospital that will need to go before us, we finally have a due date to look forward to! Keep us in your thoughts and prayers and we will let you know and hopefully post some pictures when she arrives on Tuesday!!
Well, it appears that Paige is taking her sweet time to get here...she must take after her Dad! I went to the doctor this morning and I am not dilated yet, but her head is down and she is in position. He said she could come tonight or within the week, so we're crossing our fingers for tonight! Not much of an update I know, so we'll just let nature take its course and she'll come when she is good and ready. Hmmm, maybe she takes after her Mom.

I did a maternity photo shoot with Shannon about a month ago. She is a great photographer and the shots that she took turned out really good. Hopefully she will be able to do the newborn pics when Paige arrives. Here is a random sample of some of my favorites. Enjoy!
Another couple of artists to add to Paige's favorites, The Temptations and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. She was toe-tappin to 'My Girl' and 'Hey Oh' I think she liked these mainly because I busted out my sweet dance moves. Just my opinion.
